We provide on-site education for physicians striving to advance their ability by implementing ultrasound into their bedside skill set.

You successfully acquired the purchase of a portable ultrasound unit for use in your ED - now what?  Most emergency physicians did not obtain training during residency to take advantage of this emerging technology.   Sending doctors out for training can be time-consuming and costly.  Whereas simultaneous training of all group members  encourages camaraderie and mutual support.

Through a series of modules the participant will gain both image acquisition and image interpretational skills to advance their clinical practice to the next level.    Bedside evaluation for  abdominal aortic aneurysm, ectopic pregnancy, gallstones, deep vein thrombosis, hydronephrosis, soft-tissue abscess, hemoperitoneum, pericardial tamponade, hemothorax, and procedure guidance under ultrasound are just a few of the topics covered.

IMPLEMENTATION

Every possible obstacle encountered by the non-radiologist for utilizing ultrasound is addressed and overcome upon completion of our program.  Each course contains clear pathways for credentialing, quality assurance, and billing requirements.
